An exciting opportunity has arisen at Te Puna Manawa for a youth friendly School Based Lead General Practitioner to lead our team, providing an exceptional standard of care to Rangatahi in the Waitematā region. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to work under a contractor agreement as the GP lead for the SBHS for 4 hours a week.

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
The GP Lead role provides oversight of all GP’s employed in the SBHS, supporting quality assurance processes through activities such as developing guidelines and reviewing programme reporting to identify and address programme and/or system wide issues. The GP lead facilitates GP peer groups, provides training for GP’s and nurses, and ensures nurses in SBHS are supported to work under standing orders.
Days of employment are negotiable for the right candidate in line with the service needs.
He kōrero mōu | About You:
The ideal candidate will be vocationally registered and have substantial leadership experience. You will be comfortable providing training to others, be an excellent communicator, have sound clinical competence, and familiarity with using the HEEADSSS assessment tool. Great IT skills and proficient knowledge of Medtech desirable.
