Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST is a Māori Provider Partner committed to providing effective and efficient health services. We are passionate about improving health outcomes in the Waitematā district by delivering free, accessible, innovative community and primary health services focusing on Māori, Pacific, tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and other high-needs populations. Te Puna Manawa’s Youth Health Hub provides a range of services for rangatahi, aged 12 years – 24 years.  

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in youth health to work primarily within our Alternative Education Centre.  This will be your foot in the door to working within a service that is considered to be leaders in youth health for our West Auckland rangatahi.

He kōrero mōu | About You:

You will have minimum of five years’ experience and a current practicing certificate.    The candidate ideally will have, or commit to working towards a postgraduate diploma in youth health; will be competent in the use of Medtech, MS Office Suite as well as excellent written and communication skills. 

Success in this role requires an appreciation and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people and their families.  Previous experience working with Māori & Pasifika youth and communities is an advantage.
