Ko te tūranga Mahi | About the Service
Te Puna Manawa is excited to be recruiting for our Kahu Taurima service. Kahu Taurima is a
whānau centred service for maternity and early years. The service will ensure that whānau
have access to the full range of health and social services for the first 2,000 days that is
responsive to their needs. Our Kahu Taurima service will integrate with our other existing
services including Outreach Immunisation Service, Healthy Babies, Healthy Futures, and
Noho Ãhuru Healthy Homes. We need the best kaimahi leading, influencing, working
collaboratively, enhancing our health and social services to achieve better health outcomes
for hapū wahine, māmā, pāpā, pēpi and whānau.
He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
Our Kahu Taurima Service is seeking a vibrant, friendly, culturally competent, experienced
receptionist to work in and provide reception and administrative duties at our West Auckland
based clinic. This role is 20 hours per week.
To be considered for this role you need to:
- Have a strong interest and ability to engage with on hapū wahine, māmā, pāpā,
pēpi and whānau - have excellent communication and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- have great computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- have an excellent ability to prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- have experience in providing exceptional customer services
- have a full NZ driver licence
- have a strong commitment to Te Reo and Tikanga Māori
He kōrero mōu | About You
You will have great administration skills and be experienced in reception duties. Friendly
and helpful, you will have excellent written and communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Knowledge of Med Tech and MS Office suite would be an advantage.

Tikanga haumaru | Safety Checking
